GALVANIZED COILS & PRE-PAINTED GALVANIZED COILS
MTB stocks & supplies premium grade GI (Galvanized Iron) Steel Coils, GI Coils are steel coils/sheets that have been coated with a layer of zinc to prevent rusting.
MTB proudly stocks & supplies Pre-coated GI coils, also known as Pre-Painted Galvanized Iron (PPGI) coils, PPGI are steel coils/sheets with a hot-dip zinc coating and a factory-applied, pre-painted finish. They combine the strength and corrosion resistance of galvanized steel with the aesthetic appeal and durability of paint, offering versatile material for various applications like roofing, siding, and home appliances. The painting process is done before the steel is formed, which ensures a uniform and high-quality finish.
The zinc and paint layers provide excellent protection against moisture and environmental damage. Both products offer long-lasting protection in harsh environmental conditions, making them ideal for use in construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects.

ALUZINC COILS & PRE-PAINTED ALUZINC COILS
Aluzinc Coils are steel coils coated with a protective layer of an alloy that is 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon. This coating provides superior, long-term corrosion resistance compared to galvanized steel, while maintaining the strength and formability of the steel. They are used in a wide range of applications, including construction (roofing, cladding), and are often available in pre-painted versions with various colors and finishes for aesthetic purposes.
Coating composition:
A hot-dip process applies a coating of approximately 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon to the steel.
Pre-Painted Aluzinc Coils are steel coils coated with an aluminum-zinc alloy and then painted to improve corrosion resistance and aesthetics. This combination provides long-lasting protection against the elements, is durable, lightweight, and strong, making it ideal for construction, particularly roofing and cladding, as well as household appliances and other industrial uses. The paint can be applied in a wide range of colors and finishes.
